Risk monitoring is an essential component of our investment philosophy. Asset Alliance has committed substantial financial, technological and personnel resources to develop a multi-dimensional interactive risk monitoring process that allows us to extract  more value from transparency and thus is a valuable tool in our portfolio management process.

Transparency combined with our proprietary risk system, Position Aggregation and Reporting System (PARS), plays an integral role in our ongoing risk monitoring and investment activities. Our comprehensive risk monitoring process involves continuous analysis of characteristics of multiple accounts and various strategies. Our goal is to gain the highest levels of understanding of a manager’s investment strategy and its impact on the firm’s overall risk profile.

PARS software was developed by Asset Alliance in response to the global need for increased transparency for investment management professionals. The software combines an expanded level of position aggregation with enhanced reporting capabilities. Having successfully used PARS internally for several years, Asset Alliance is now making it available to other investment management firms as a product that works with position level transparency to portfolios of multiple accounts. The system allows users to download, on a daily basis, portfolio holdings from multiple prime broker accounts and produces a variety of user friendly reports designed to better understand and monitor risk exposures on an account and firm-wide basis.
